2010-2011 in a Nutshell

Fall 2010: It was probably one of the best semesters I have had at Cal State Fullerton. It was a semester of new things and endings. I joined ∑N fraternity, joined ASI Productions as the Union & Special Programming Coordinator & declared my minor in Public Relations. The semester was alright and thank God I maintained by 3.0 GPA. so im really happy. Made a lot of new friends which is dope!!

Spring 2011: This semester was crazy! Started out by moving out of my house and now I live in Fullerton! I still work at Round 1 Entertainment. I finished my semester off as the Union & Special Programming Coordinator for ASI Productions and was newly appointed the Administrative Director for ASI Productions for 2011-2012 ! I was voted in as the new Scholarship Chair for my fraternity :). I became an IFC delegate and continued on with my studies. This semester was a wake up call for school and making sure that its my priority in the upcoming semesters. I still have my 3.0 GPA but I had a hard time this semester maintaining that. I am pretty excited for all the new things that will be happening this summer. Including CAMP TITAN, NEW YORK, ASI PRODUCTIONS, SIGMA NU & MORE. My family is my rock (they keep me going for the better) every move I make from now on is all with their support and the support of GOD.

Spring Semester 2010!

So here are my thoughts on Spring Semester 2010 at Cal State Fullerton:

To start off these were the classes I had: Tuesday/Thursdays at 7 am English. at 8:30 History 110 A. at 11:30 Liberal Math. at 2:30 HComm 100. Mondays at 8:30 Field Video Production. Wednesday at 12:55 Bowling :).
So it was definately a work load. My english class started out great. I kept getting the highest scores on the essays and kept doing my thang. The class was chill until i started showing up either late or not at all, and then things went downhill. my last essay I didnt do so well which cost me my A. :(. I ended up with a B+. My history class was so chill all semester long, Mr. Smith is really cool. I literally slept all but two days that I remember. Test were pretty chill just really had to study. I ended up with a B. Math was probably my favorite class. I never knew math could be easy to learn, especially the way she taught us. It was alot of work, but with great effort i got an A-. My first A in a math class ever :). HComm was the class that had most of my interest in the beggining, then I slowly began to loose interest. I worked hard but slacked off on some of the quizzes causing me to get a B+. :(. I was expecting to enjoy my film class all year long and for the most part i did. At least i enjoyed the stuff outside of class LOL. I went all year long, the teacher never told us our grade until the last day of school (which I did not attend because i was in Texas). Anyways i ended up with a B+ :( and IDK why! and Bowling was always chill, never learned anything until the penultimate day of school. Got my A. So here it is: English B+, RTVF B+, HCOM B+ (ps. i hate B+'s now, ill explain later why). History B. Bowling A, & Math A-. for overall 3.3gpa this semester and 3.2 overall. AAAAAAAAAA i wanted to be higher!! hahah it will happen :)


The reason I hate B+'s, is because its so close to that A- that i would much rather get a solid B. Plain and Simple.

One Big Problem: A Big Problem I had this year was deciding on a Major. I had already declared myself a Film Major and then I wanted to switch to Business Admin with a concentration in Entertainment Managment with a minor in Film. After battling with decision after decision and thought after thought i finally chose to stick with FILM and I am happy that i DID!

COLLEGE FUN:
Apart from classes I was highly involved with ASIP Street Team. I was able to get other friends involved in Street Team and now after working with Street Team, I got a position on the ASI Productions Staff! I am Union and Special Program Coordinator (partnered with Tiffany Santana). My friends also got positions :) Joanne Caculitan ASIP Street Team Coordinator & Karina/Edward (Thursday Pub Concert Coordinators)! Next year is going to be exciting!. Another excitiing program I joined was Camp Titan. (I will talk about Camp Titan in another post!)


FINAL THOUGHTS:
So I leave this first year of College with great thoughts. I just hope I get more involved with school and possibly join a Fraternity ?? idk Ive been thinking about it. goodbye Freshman Year, HELLO SUMMER!!

Its 5:04 in the morning.. and i decided to blog again.. I havn't blogged since july?

Thanksgiving Break:
So my thanksgiving break has been pretty good so far. Monday I got up really late at 2pm and then got ready and went to work from 3-11pm. :/ and there went my day lol.. Tuesday i decidied to go to BWW with Joanne Anthony and Jasmine. We had some bomb ass wings. Then we decided to go play Tennis at some random park in walnut. Pretty Fun. My teams won both times lol.. Then after working out lol we went to hit up Baskin Robins and had some bomb ass icecream thanks to that special $1 Scoop Tuesdays lol.. and the night was good. Wednesday got up late again.. and then got ready for work again from 3-11pm lol. Thursday was thanksgiving. got up. watched the Cowboy's Game (they won!) and then ate some bomb ass food. I took a picture but its in my cellphone lol. And then chilled for the night then saw LOPEZ TONIGHT. Funny ass show.. then went to AMC 30 and saw LAW ABIDING CITIZEN. great movie. and then Carls Jr. Then at Midnight Headed to Ontario Mills and the dam mall was like DisneyLand. Packed up the nalgas lol.. afterword drove back like a 2:30 am to west co. checked out Both Best Buys's (West Co and Industry) and then went to walmart in search of a PS3. Places were packed so we left. Headed to Game Stop. it was suprisingly empty and it was 3:30 am. decided to wait their till 6am till they opened. Right before we were gonna buy the PS3 bundle they run out. bought the regular ps3 and a game. then decided to check online on Amazon. had a great bundle deal with two games for $299. flat! bought it and returned the other Ps3. and then it was 7:30 Am. I went home showered and got ready for work at 9 am. Work was a Bitch! i was really tired because my ass hadnt slept. so i was like knocking out on the costumers haha.. I basically worked from 9-5pm. oh man! then Manager asked me to buy stuff at dollar tree and went to get all the stuff. went back to work at 7pm. and waited for Joanne to get off..finally we left.. Saturday was chill until they called me in the morning to come work. Had Church Band Practice at 2:30pm then it ended at 4:45pm and then went home and got ready for work @5pm. worked till 9:30 and then headed home. Plans with some friends got cancelled but i was able to start on Math Project. Sunday was a pretty good day. Got up did stuff and got ready for church. Practiced before church started then it began. Had a good lesson. Debates on certain topics. pretty interesting. Afterword headed home and I was suppose to go to Chipotle. but i ended up getting Jack's! :) bomb stuff. watched George Lopez till 1 am. fell asleep and some how woke up at 3:30ish and got up to worko on Radio-Tv-Film hwk. and now im still doing it but i wound up blogspot lol.. i guess i should get back to doing the work.. peace out its 5:16.

Joannes Debut!

After 3 weeks of practicing, saturday july 11 was the big day! I ate a whole lot because the food was bomb and i was starving and i hadnt ate the whole day so that was pretty cool. Heres how july 11 went: I woke up late as hell and i was hungry but then i decided to just eat half a donut. After that i decided to text vieja and ask her if i was picking her up, turns out i was. then it hit 2:30pm Lol. I took a shower and all that good stuff. Joanne calls me up asking me for some help to which i was glad to help her with. Afterword i headed over to the goodwill and bought myself a belt because i didnt have one :( now i have one and it cost 3 dollars! HA! lol. then i went to pick up the vieja and we headed over to shadow oak. at shadow oak we set up the hall, practiced once, found out someone dropped the debut : and then took some pictures. Everything was just going good and then we found out someone else wasnt showing up, the slideshow wasnt working and some random person showed up to the debut. Lol. anywho the person we were waiting for shows up and immediately we get in line and dance. after we did the 18 roses. i danced stand by me with Joanne and then we played the show. the whole night ended with a couple laughs outside the hall with joe and karla and some more laughs outside joannes house with mimi anthony and viejota. and then some more laughs inside joannes house with everyone! well that was all.. there will be pictures up on my myspace wen joanne posts them. peace!
